BTS’s September calendar connects a citywide welcome in Los Angeles with a festival appearance in Las Vegas. October then brings the ARIRANG world tour to Latin America.

For readers following BTS in September 2026, these developments offer a useful way to look ahead: a local celebration, a shared festival stage and a tour reaching audiences across several countries.

Los Angeles makes room for BTS Week

Los Angeles designated September 1–8 as BTS Week, according to a September 1 Yonhap report published by The Korea Times, citing BIGHIT MUSIC. The report described a City Hall ceremony involving city and tourism representatives.

The designation coincides with four ARIRANG tour dates at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, in the Los Angeles area. The venue’s official listing gives September 1, 2, 5 and 6 as the concert dates.

KEYWORD_WORLD note: A city’s welcome gives a concert a place in public life beyond the stadium. We see that as an invitation for people who may know the name BTS but have yet to explore the music or the culture around it.

A different setting in Las Vegas on September 18

BTS is listed for Friday, September 18, at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The festival runs September 18–19, but the arena’s lineup by night places BTS on Friday, alongside artists including Cardi B, Kenny Chesney and Weezer.

This is a separate festival appearance from the ARIRANG tour. It also offers a different setting: BTS will share a bill with performers from several musical genres. The lineup remains subject to change.

For viewers following from home, iHeartMedia names Disney+ and Hulu as streaming destinations. Check the services’ listings in your country closer to the event; international availability is not confirmed here.

October brings the tour to Latin America

The official ARIRANG tour schedule lists five Latin American stops in October:

  • Bogotá, Colombia: October 2–3.
  • Lima, Peru: October 7, 9 and 10.
  • Santiago, Chile: October 14, 16 and 17.
  • Buenos Aires stop, Argentina: October 21, 23 and 24, with the venue in La Plata.
  • São Paulo, Brazil: October 28, 30 and 31.

These are announced dates, not a report of completed performances. For the Argentina stop, the distinction between the tour’s city label and the venue’s location is especially useful when checking transport and accommodation.

The KEYWORD_WORLD view

A tour connects cities on a calendar. The more interesting connection, to us, happens between people: a song shared with a friend, a Korean phrase someone wants to understand, or curiosity about a place they have never visited.

That curiosity does not need to become a major journey. Sometimes listening more closely is a meaningful first step.
