Start with your family’s pass combination

Displayed NOL prices after the 6.7% discount: adult KRW 605,517; youth KRW 418,917. An eligible legal child of an adult pass user has a separate KRW 50,000 issuance fee. The following examples include that fee, without adding payment-method offers or card cashback.

Who will ridePass choice · subtotal
One adult + one eligible childKRW 655,517
1 adult pass + 1 child issuance fee
Two adults + two eligible childrenKRW 1,311,034
2 adult passes + 2 child issuance fees
One adult + two eligible childrenKRW 1,074,434
1 adult pass + 1 child fee + 1 youth pass
One adult + one youth
No child benefit used
KRW 1,024,434
1 adult pass + 1 youth pass

One adult pass user may register one qualifying legal child. If one adult rides with two eligible children, one child uses the benefit and the other needs a youth pass. The two-adult example assumes both adults actually use their passes and each registers a different eligible child.

Adults were born on or before December 31, 2007. Youth passes and the child benefit cover January 1, 2008–December 31, 2023 births. People born from January 1, 2024 are outside the listed issuance range. The paying account holder and the actual rider can be different; register the actual user.

One adult and one eligible child total KRW 655,517, which is KRW 368,917 less than buying an adult and youth pass separately. For 5 visits together, that subtotal allocates about KRW 131,103 per family visit; for 10, about KRW 65,552. These are rounded examples for both people together. Compare with actual day tickets for the same people and access, rather than treating the allocation as a day-ticket price.

From checkout to registration and on-site pickup

  1. Choose the passes and pay. Use the family table to choose adult/youth quantities, check the selected options and final checkout amount, and keep the confirmation.
  2. Open the Playstory registration link. It arrives by KakaoTalk or LMS/text message. Complete login and identity verification, then enter the actual rider’s photo and details.
  3. Request the adult’s review. Check for 검수완료 (review completed). After the parent’s review is complete, register the qualifying child and follow the instructions for the KRW 50,000 issuance fee.
  4. Collect after the resort opens. Reviewed users can issue the pass at a kiosk or season-pass desk. Follow the provider’s instructions for your selected resort and review status.

Child documents: 2014–2023 births need family proof such as a family relationship certificate or health insurance document. For 2008–2013 births, the listed documents also include a youth ID or resident registration card. If your documents or identification differ from the Korean examples, confirm which documents the provider accepts before paying; no specific foreign-national registration case is verified here.

An order marked “used” immediately after purchase is an automatic system status. It is separate from the user-information review. Check 검수완료 in Playstory. The second sale uses on-site pickup after opening; the former encore delivery deadline does not apply.

This season: both base pass prices rose by KRW 50,000

Second saleKRW 649,000KRW 449,000
Increase+KRW 50,000+KRW 50,000

Two adult base passes rose from KRW 1,198,000 to KRW 1,298,000: KRW 100,000 more for the family. The first sale (September 9–27) and encore (October 1–7) used the same base prices. This comparison excludes NOL discounts, payment offers and delivery fees; the current family subtotals above use the displayed NOL-discount prices separately.

Adult: 649,000 × 0.933 = 605,517. Youth: 449,000 × 0.933 = 418,917. A delivery-included first-sale display price should not be directly subtracted from the second-sale base price.

Last season: KRW 100,000 from first to third sale

Second saleKRW 599,000KRW 399,000
Third saleKRW 649,000KRW 449,000

Both categories rose by KRW 50,000 at each step, or KRW 100,000 from the first to third sale. These are last season’s X5+ base prices, checked against Shinhan Card’s first-sale material and MONA YongPyong’s second- and third-sale notices. They are a separate historical record, not the current X6+ price table.

This season’s actual increase and the historical rises give a reason to consider a further increase if another sale opens. The current season’s third-sale availability, dates and prices are not officially confirmed in the reviewed sources. No next price is assumed.

Decide using the winter you will actually use

X6+ covers MONA YongPyong, High1, Jisan Forest Resort, Welli Hilli Park, Elysian Gangchon and Alpensia. Lift/gondola access follows each resort’s operations and included facilities. Q-PASS and premium-only gates or lines are separate paid products.

If a participating resort fits your travel plans, you intend to ride repeatedly, and your family’s pass combination is clear, I recommend considering the current second-sale offer now. The reasons are the verified KRW 50,000 increase this season, last season’s phase-by-phase rises and the eligible-child option. For a single-resort plan, compare that resort’s standalone pass and actual day tickets for the same family before choosing.
